It's Friday and it's payday. Happy days.
Somehow, despite going away at the beginning of the month we have had a £520 underspend this month!
I will be using some of that to buy next years van festival tickets later this morning when they are released but the remainder will be going into the savings account.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is posh hot dogs with chips and onion rings. We will watch a film and have a few beers first though.
I need to make tomorrow nights shepherds pie tonight but I can have a beer making that. The other half will walk the dog while I start that.0 -

Figured it out eventually.
The other half is paid weekly on Friday and there are five Fridays this September
Anyway. The van festival early bird tickets are purchased and the extra has been transferred into the savings account.1 -
Glad you've worked out where the money has come from and it isn't because you forgotten to pay something!

Here’s to an unexpected £500 squid 👍👏👏
Enjoy Derbyshire. We’re undecided whether to head to a train show and then go out somewhere afterwards tomorrow. It’s further into Derbyshire than we usually travel but I don’t want to stay over as I’m heading to dds on Monday for a few days and I want to leave things sorted for ds as he’ll be working whilst I’m away.January spends - £587.581 -
The other half has had a small pay rise today. Nothing huge, it amounts to £10 a week but it is better than nothing. 😀
Last week our friends who we went away with, who are in Spain now, sent us a message to say they had found something that they had to buy for us.
Today it arrived 🤣🤣🤣
They said it reminded them of Syd 🤣🤣🤣2 -
That's so funny! Only in Spain would you find something like that!
