  • The other half was up before the birds this morning. Think his body clock is stuck in work mode 🙄

We will have a couple of coffee's, walk the dog and get the van out. No point trying to force sleep now.

We are going into Sheffield to grab a pork sandwich for breakfast. Its on our way anyway and we have not had one for ages now. Miss a good Beres pork sarnie.

Dinner later is the Shepherds pie I made last night.

We are parking "off grid" tonight so no time limits on when we can arrive so we may as well make a day of it. Give the dog a good long walk and sample a pub or two. 😀

Love it when we can grab a weekend away in the van.  Not been away for a while now because of hospital appointments for both of us.  Last time we went away the fridge packed up so have had to buy a new one but unfortunately our mobile engineer did his back in last week the day before he was due to come and fit it!

Enjoy this weekend.  Hope the weather is good where you are going.
  •  We have had one of those days where we have timed the weather right, for a change 😀

It was lovely when we got here. We have had a good walk round, visited a few pubs and retired back to van just as the rain started.

Its busy with vans today. Very busy. In fact probably overly busy. Luckily the locals are very van friendly and see the benefits we bring 🙄

There is a band playing in one of the caverns tonight. We are wondering if we might hear it from here which would be great if we could.  It's a Foo Fighters tribute band 😀

We had a lazy start this morning with a few coffee's, a nice walk for the dog and then a cooked breakfast before we started to think about packing up and heading for home.

We refilled with LPG on the way home. Hopefully this year supplies will be a bit more stable than last, but we will fill up when we can anyway.

We are now back home with the van sorted out, dinner prepared for later, a load of washing on and a few odd jobs at home dealt with.

Time to chill out now. The dog has had a second walk and is now fast asleep in bed. Alright for some!
