Not a no spends day today. We have been to the shop to pick a few bits up this morning for the weekend and we will need to pay for our weekends parking tonight as well.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a nice steak pie from the farm shop served with a jacket potato and chilli and mint mushy peas.

We are heading off to a local pub for the weekend in the van this weekend. The dog will enjoy it he knows the area well, we took the boat on a regular basis. Much easier to get there with the van though. There is lots of really good dog walking in the area. Will have a couple of pints in the pub tonight before we head back to the van for dinner.

We are not planning on it being an expensive weekend. We are planning to do lots of walking and chilling out.

We had a lovely time last night. Hasld a few drinks and met some lovely people. The dog was spoiled as usual.

They have a Christmas Market on today so we will have a look at that but it does mean we are a bit wedged in in the car park this time to leave room for customer parking.  They usually leave a decent amount of space between vans.

We are considering getting up and having a coffee. No great rush though. Today's plans are walking, lots of walking.

Breakfast this morning is sausage and egg muffins with hash brown and dinner later is some nice dexter steak and Shropshire blue burgers with chips, onion rings and coleslaw.

Lots of aires in France can be a bit like that with just about room to open your door!  Although there are plenty where there will only be one or two other vans so plenty of space for everyone.

No worse than rafting up with the boat I suppose.

    It's a car park not a campsite!

It doesn't bother us being parked close together. We are used to it from our boating days when we were often rafted alongside other boats.

Just had to park the opposite way round so our hab door was away from next doors which randomly for a UK van has its hab door on the wrong side 🤔

You'll be glad your has door is on the wrong side when you go abroad though @RelievedSheff as it's only British vans have them on the right side for this country.  Some people don't worry about doors facing each other but others do!  It doesn't bother us to be honest, certainly wouldn't be worried if a British van parked with their hab door towards ours - as long as there is room to open both doors!

We had a fantastic weekend at the pub.

Got back home about 11.30am. Then we were straight back out again to Spalding to pick up an Ebay purchase we made ages ago.

We had a sausage sandwich on the van. Dinner tonight is roast pork and all the trimmings.

Just got back home again. Load of washing in the machine. Dinner prepped. Dog walked and now shattered and in bed. Time to have sit down now I think.
