The traffic in Sheffield was terrible this morning as well which hasn't helped. I suspect there will be a lot of people late in to work this morning.1 -
Dinner sounds lovely! Im also tired this morning, the rain kept me awake in the night. I’ll be surprised if there isn’t some localised flooding which could be a reason for the traffic

Took part in the office World Cup sweepstake yesterday. Should have saved my £1. I doubt it will be Canada's year this year

I feel that may be the last you see of that £1 RS
It's all in good fun though isn't it? Hope the traffic is just from some roadworks or diversion and not set for the foreseeable, I hate traffic so you have my sympathy!

I usually draw rubbish teams in sweepstakes too 😆I’ve noticed more traffic on the road when I’m walking to work. I wonder if more people are taking their cars rather than cycle or walk now the mornings are dark and the weather’s not great.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

They’ve been resurfacing a big roundabout near me and the traffic has been diverting to the next motorway junction- which is along the main road around my corner. The locals have been using the side streets whilst they’ve had lanes closed during the day. My ds has been caught out a couple of times though as the roundabout has been totally closed overnight from 9 pm. The traffic has been awful but should be finished fairly soon I hope. I do have sympathy with the cause of the protesters but causing traffic chaos isn’t the way to do it…..I don’t know what is the right way. But stopping folk from going to work and important appointments and generally inconveniencing folk isn’t the way In my view. It must be very frustrating to be stuck in it. We’ll be heading over Dartford at the beginning of next month as we go to dds….it’s a long enough journey as we invariably hit traffic somewhere along the route of around 300 miles so I hope we don’t encounter protesters.January spends - £587.582

What the protesters dont seem to get is causing problems for ordinary people is not the way to gain either action or sympathy. They need to cause problems to the people that make the rules i.e the government.

I Imagine both the dogs slept well after that meeting ha.
Dinner this evening sounds really good. We have a meal out with son and one of his schoolfriends and parents planned. Not our turn to pay either so win win.
I, too, have noticed a lot of traffic but nothing like what you're describing.
Out in the van this weekend?2
