  • Look at all the zeros on your finance update! You’re doing wonderfully well and it won’t be long til you smash that 30k mark

Another two zero balances to add before too long :)

It does feel as though we are finally getting somewhere with these debts. I think this is perhaps the first time in my adult life that I have actually felt in control of my finances!
I sometimes feel like this and then I worry I might jinx myself! :D

  • Under £20k on motor home loan. Awesome when you get under £30k. Lots of zeros so well done for staying focused.

It will a no spends day today. Number 7 for February.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work which today comprise leftovers from last nights ploughmans and dinner tonight is a homemade corned beef and potato pie with chips and vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • vacuuming the house
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • walking the dog
The dog is at the dog sitters on Saturday night and they have asked if we can move the dogs bed out of our bedroom and into another room in the house this week. We were expecting a rubbish nights sleep last night but actually he settled down really well. We only put the bed in the hallway last night but we are going to gradually move it into the small bedroom over the week.

My mum used to make corned beef and potato pie when I was little so that brings back memories. If the dog gets used to sleeping in the small bedroom he could have his own room 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

We are considering him having his bed in there full time depending how he gets on this week.

He never used to sleep in our bedroom at the old house. His bed was in the hallway.

My books have arrived today. We preordered these as one of my Christmas presents.

Can start planning next year's road trip now 😃

Only trouble now is picking where we want to go. There are so many places that look so nice. 😍
