It’s what you expected but sorry it was a positive test. Hopefully it will be mild like your oh….which will be better than the old days when we felt obliged and battled on with horrendous colds. At least you’ll get chance for some r&r.

Sorry your test was positive. At least you have an excuse to do very little other than entertain the dog.

Off to bed now. Suddenly went very tired so not going to fight it.

If the other half's progress is anything to go by I should hopefully feel a bit brighter tomorrow.

I have left him cleaning the pots from Sunday dinner and then playing in the garden with the dog.

It will be no spends day number 10 for January. Covid is good for something 😃

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Toast for breakfast, roast chicken and stuffing sandwiches for lunch and chicken, mushroom and bacon pasta for dinner later.

It goes without saying we are nothoing anywhere today 🤣🤣🤣

Guess we will be watching some TV, listening to some music and playing g board games again.

  • Sounds like a good plan for the day RS. I think the reason for 11 days on the initial T&T contact is because it IS still that but with the proviso of 2 negative tests on day 5/6 meaning you get to escape early. I'm guessing they've left it that way to avoid folk conveniently "forgetting" that they do need those clear LFT's to get out again on day 6!

£251 paid to the car HP loan today. Other than that it us no spends day number 11 for January.

Egg and soldiers for breakfast this morning, lunch is spicy bean soup and bread and dinner later is rib eye steak with chips, onion rings, garlic mushrooms, asparagus and corn in the cob.

We had a rubbish night's sleep last night thanks to my hacking cough and burning sore throat. I can really see why some people struggled with this prior to the vaccination programme. It seems to have calmed down a bit for now 🤔

Try putting the head end of your bed on some books to make it higher, it can help with the coughing.
