It will be a no spends day today. Number 8 of January.
Still a negative lateral flow test result for me this morning so the dog has another day of freedom
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, lunch will be a jacket potato with veggie chilli and dinner tonight is burger, chips, onion rings and corn on the cob.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- vacuuming the house
- walking the dog x 4

You're doing better than me with the NSDs this month. I hope OH picks up a bit for the weekend, plenty of rest, fluids and paracetamol.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I peeled the dog out of bed and made him come out for his first walk. Silly dog was busting for a wee but wouldn't leave his dad in bed. He knows his dad isn't well.
Other half has got up now and put the proper coffee on. Sure he will be fine. He has just had some pain killers so no doubt he will feel a bit better when they kick in.2 -
Some dogs are very sensitive to their owners well being. Our little one actually knew her previous owner had breast cancer before it was diagnosed. She kept sniffing at the area which was and is not her normal behaviour. If we are not well she sticks to us like glue.3

He is being a good nanny

The other half has announced he thinks he feels a bit better than he did yesterday which is good. He says it is just like a mild cold and he has been to work in the past with far worse cold symptoms.3 -
That's good. I think back to all the times I've dragged myself into work feeling really poorly and spreading my germs around.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

He has just cracked open a beer and declared we are having BBQ breakfast tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣
Definitely on the mend. Mind you he wasn't too ill yesterday.1 -
It won't be a no spends day today. We have a home shopping delivery today. Didn't get any vegetables with the delivery earlier in the week as we expected to be going to the farm shop this weekend. Obviously not now 🙂
It is bbq breakfast this morning. Should keep the other half occupied for a little while this morning. And I have ordered some takeaway style pizzas and sides with our home shopping so we will have a Fakeaway later on for dinner.
I have a slight sore throat this morning. Will take a lateral flow test when I get up.
Obviously not got loads planned today while the other half is isolating. Might break the board games out later instead of just watching films.1 -
Pizza night in our house too. Fingers crossed for a negative test.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
