I have had a message from track and trace which still says 11 days isolation. Will confirm what it is when they ring up later.EssexHebridean said:Ahh bother - how annoying when the OH is so relatively far through his too. Have you established whether the 5 day thing will apply to you or does it not because it only officially starts for positives taken tomorrow?
Either way, take it easy if you’re showing symptoms - like most flu type things rest and good hydration sounds like the way forward for this one. Hopefully you’ll be OK.
Thankfully my symptoms seems very mild, so far anyway, just an annoying sore throat and a slight cough.
At least if we get this out of the way now we can enjoy our mini break to York in a couple of weeks.1

Glad you're not feeling too ill and your symptoms seem very mild. Try and keep well hydrated and rest as much as you can.
As you say at least with getting it now it won't stop your mini break to York so that's good news.

A nuisance but like you say probably inevitable and best out of the way. I bet half of MSE would drive down to walk the dog if you're stuck lol. Can't be long before his dad can go out though.
Hope its equally mild for you although perhaps you might have it just serious enough to be waited on for a day or two

I’m sure that comes as no surprise to you. At least you can get it over and done with before York.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Dad is on Day 5 so he just needs two negative tests now and he can go out again. He was still positive this morning though.warby68 said:A nuisance but like you say probably inevitable and best out of the way. I bet half of MSE would drive down to walk the dog if you're stuck lol. The dog will be fine with a few days of garden leave. We will keep him occupied.
Need to find ways to keep me occupied now. I'm having a couple of days off work to rest but will probably be back to WFH by mid week.1

Sorry to hear you have covid mate. Hope it is no worse than a cold - most of my staff have had it at some point or another and have all been fine. Worked out ok that you have holiday booked for start of the week though.1

            Odd symptom number 1.
A lot of people report losing their sense of smell and taste. Mine seems to have gone the other way and everything smells and tastes really strong which is bordering on the unpleasant!
 Odd Symptom number 2.
We both have terrible wind 🤣🤣🤣1

Not to alarm you but your Odd Symptom number 1 was something I experienced in early pregnancy1

It definitely isn't that 🤣🤣🤣warby68 said:Not to alarm you but your Odd Symptom number 1 was something I experienced in early pregnancy1
