All heading in the right direction. Not long until the car loan is another one to add to the £0 list.

No not long at all. Just two payments to go on that one. One payment next week and then the last payment next month.

Just looked at my Paypal Credit account and they have taken the £100 I requested. So will update the balances accordingly :)

Will aim to get that random £40 paid off that account this month as well so that we have another nice round figure to work with.

Happy new year to you, the other half and the dog RS - and congrats on getting your thread featured in the annual round up too!

Good to see the car loan so close to being "shifted into the top section" - it's all falling into shape wonderfully!

    Thank you :)

Happy new year to you and yours as well.

Still got to get the car fixed though so there is going to be a bit of a 0% shuffle going on shortly to get that paid for. Might at the same time shuffle a couple of the balances already on 0% around as well and get them so we are just making a couple of payments a month rather than the 4 a month as current.

Getting plenty of 0% offers from our current card providers at the moment so won't need to apply for any new ones.

Just need to know when we can have the loan car from where the other half works first and then we can arrange to get the car fixed!!

Not a no spends today. We have a home shopping delivery coming this afternoon. Good job because the other half has woken up feeling rough, taken a lateral flow test and it has come back positive.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was a sausage sandwich, we will have the other half's packed lunch I had already made for lunch and dinner tonight is thai beef with noodles.

    Today's jobs are:
    • working from home
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • load of washing
    • trying to keep the dog entertained whilst cooped up in the house

Oh no. This latest strain seems determined to get us all. I hope he feels better soon.

    Oh dear, hope he's ok.

Don't think you have to stay in - lateral flows daily I believe is the recommendation unless you also have symptoms - but I could well be out of date. Its got very (overly) complicated.

He woke up and said he felt like he had a hang over. Which would have been amazing considering we have not had a drink since Sunday night. He seems ok for now.

I need to check up on the latest recommendations. Would be nice if I could still take the dog out. He will hate being stuck in the house for 7 days :)

The rules say, I believe, that he has to isolate but as long as you are fully vaccinated and have a negative lateral flow test you can continue to go out to work (i know you are working from home) and I assume that also means you can do all your normal things. You need to test daily. I would however, avoid people as far as possible out of courtesy.  I know one of our fellow dog walkers is staying away from everyone so I am assuming someone in his family is positive. DH spoke to hime but didnt ask and I havent seen him.
