It will be a no spends day today. Number 4 for January.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having some stewing steak with stilton mash for my lunch and dinner tonight is pizza and a few beers on the sofa with a couple of films.
Todays jobs include:- working from home
- vacuuming the house
- walking the dog x 2

Mr SA would've eaten all that, his ideal meal 😆
The guidance says work from home if you can so if it's not feasible makes sense to go back to the office. We are moving to our brand new premises in March and the people involved with the logistics of the move have no choice but to go into the office, it can't be done from home. The building we currently occupy has been sold so we have to move out by a certain date.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
As much as I would liked to have stayed working from home it just won't work with the projects we have coming up. I have told them I am not going to be happy if any of them give me Covid before our York break at the end of the month

I’m not a massive eater tbh, like food but not in massive quantities.
The work from home is if you can advice - I’m not sure many are sticking to it tbh. I am with my staff but some have been hybrid since pre covid times and some do have to come in. Rn the hybrid ones are more home based than I would usually like them to be. One is vulnerable to covid so their job has changed quite a bit although they are ready to get on with life and a bit fed up of what their role has become. Can’t blame them and it’s something we are reviewing this month.1 -

It's sunny again just now but we keep getting flurries of snow. Got caught in one with the dog when we went for our lunch time walk.0

It’s been a horrible day here….snow, hail rain and it’s been dark all day. I keep telling myself I’ll notice the evenings getting lighter soon 🤞January spends - £587.580

We rarely see snow but there was 5minutes of hailstones this morning.

It should be a fairly low spends day today. Not planning on doing much other than going to the farm shop to stock up on some fruit, vegetables and meat.
We need to pull the van out and give it a good exterior wash to get the mud off it at some point either today or tomorrow and we need to take the dog out for a walk but not sure where yet.
Might get the board games out later rather then just cabbaging on the sofa.
Breakfast this morning is a bacon sandwich and dinner later is slow cooked ox tail madras, jalapeño rice, onion bhaji, vegetable samosa and naan bread.1
