It will be a very low spends day today.

Breakfast and lunch are from stores. It was toast for breakfast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work and I am having a jacket potato with garlic butter and cheese for my lunch. We are going to the local pub for dinner tonight. The other half's mum gave us some Pub Token vouchers for Christmas amongst other things so we are going to use one of them tonight. They have a brilliant BOGOF offer on burgers on a Thursday night so that along with a couple of drinks each comes to £21.20. With the voucher that will make dinner tonight £1.20 :)

Rude not too at that price and we have another £40 worth of Pub Tokens to use up after that. So will do the same again a couple of times in the year.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing
    • walking the dog x 2

They are a brilliant idea. We didn't know that they existed until we received these. You can use them in a lot of the big chain pubs. Our local is Greene King which accepts them which is really handy.

Turns out it was a no spends day. There was some live sport on so we got 10% off drinks which took our bill under £20.

It was the land lady that reminded us to use the discount card 🤣🤣🤣

No spends day 3 for January.

Oh and the burgers were lovely.

My kind of meal, would be full up after it as well. Me and OH went out for a meal yesterday to use a voucher we were given Xmas 2020. We checked the voucher and website to see if we could find a use by date but there wasn’t one. When we went to pay for the meal the voucher was declined “ came up as expired”, so had to pay for the meal which wasn’t a problem. We were told to email the company, which we did and they informed us that the vouchers are  only valid for a year even tho it doesn’t say anywhere, but they have extended the voucher till the end of March, which means we need to have another meal out. That’s fine by me.xx

I wouldn't normally choose to have a burger when we eat out but when they are BOGOF it's rude not too 😀

These vouchers have quite a long expiry, they are valid until late June 2023. I don't think they will last that long though!
