It should be a lower spends day today.

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and dinner tonight is steak pie with chips and vegetables.

Today we are going for a walk to an iron age Fort which is near the village here. Might pop in at the pub on the way back.

Despite the mud we are having a lovely time in Norfolk. It is so friendly here. The site owners literally can't do enough for you. The pub is super friendly as well which is a bonus.

Been for a good walk with the dog earlier to the iron age fort and it would have been rude not to call in at the pub on the way back.

Now back on the van watching a barn owl being chased by a kestrel and huge squadrons of geese flying in.

Close call with the van glad the Jeep got you moving again though. Looks a lovely place. I really fancy hiring a boat and having a long weekend on the Norfolk broads.

    Pay day today 😀

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores but we are eating out for lunch today. Breakfast is a bacon sandwich and dinner later is rib eye steak with garlic and herb sweet potatoes and Stilton green beans. We will grab fish and chips at lunchtime.

Today we are walking into Wells. We reckon on it being about a 50 minute walk from the farm here to the harbour.

We need to sort the van tanks out before we head out though and refill with water and empty the grey water tank. We need to move the van to do this but the field looks to have dried out enough now.  If not we will need the Jeep again 😃

Happy payday. My payday too, no early December payday for us 😆

Have a great time in Wells.

Do you not have a bucket to empty the waste tank and a watering can to top up the fresh water rather than having to move the van?  It's what we do if we are in the same place for more than a couple of days.

Enjoy your walk into Wells and when you get there of course.

It is staying where it has landed until Sunday morning now. The farmer is going to tow us out and get us on our way again.

The walk to Wells was very nice. Sat in the harbour wall eating fish and chips in the sunshine.

Last time we went to Wells it was pouring with rain, still loved it. It’s been lovely and sunny here too, very unseasonably mild.
