Definitely a spendy day. Just filled the van up with diesel. £83 and it was only just showing under half a tank on the gauge before we started filling 😕2

You do surprisingly well on the mileage really, from what you’d said. And allowing that it also means no accommodation costs - or minimal ones at least, it’s pretty impressive, really.Hope the pub is fun!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

We had a fantastic time yesterday. We will certainly be back there at some point soon.
We have just got back home and stuck the van back in the drive. We have drained the water system down as its due to get cold in the week and we are not using the van next weekend anyway.
Not a no spends day today. I had to go to the shops for a few bits and pieces. Breakfast was a full English cooked for the four of us on the van and dinner tonight is roast beef and all the trimmings.
The dog is shattered. He is in bed now sound asleep. Think he has overdone it this weekend. He was sick in the kitchen when we got home 😕1 -
Forgot to add our domestic battery on the van has failed in spectacular fashion this morning. It was bang flat when we woke up this morning.
So we need to buy a replacement for that next week. The other half needs to bring some tools home so he can remove the seat to measure the existing battery before we buy a new one.
It's going to be an expensive job. We had already decided we were going to buy a Lithium battery when we replaced it so it's going on the credit card I'm afraid ☹1 -
Glad you had a great time. Lovely photos. Boo to the battery though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

That’s annoying about the battery but it sounds like you were aware it was going to fail at some stage?Hopefully the dog is OK and it’s just tiredness and excitement, glad you had a lovely weekend!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
