Sun_Addict said:Glad you missed the traffic. It must be around 11 years since we were last in York too. More than an hour for us, probably around 2 hours, still not bad though. Since the start of Covid I’ve kept a decent stock of the essentials, I don’t let them run down now, learned my lesson there. I found the smaller shops had decent stock levels but a bit pricier than the bigger shops.
Definitely going to the farm shop for some meat for the freezer next weekend. The garage freezer is looking a bit bare so probably time to start stocking that up again while we can.2 -
We were in York for a few days last weekend. Stayed at a campsite 3 miles from the centre. Straight road into the centre. Loved every minute. So many independent shops and not many empty shops, a change from many city centres. Will definitely go back next year.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002
