It looks gorgeous. You are down south at the moment, but will eventually drive past us if you are heading right up the nc500. I can recommend the lovely views at Duncansby Head and the stacks if you are heading near John O’Groats. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

That is tomorrow's plan. See the stacks, Dunnet Head and then onto John O Groats for the evening.WinterWarrior said:It looks gorgeous. Amazing places @RelievedSheff
Wish I could do something similar take my Range Rover would be a logistical nightmare for accommodation though I’m sure and I have never been away from home for that long either ha have to say it’s tempting when as far as I’ve ventured all day is my kitchen lol.0 -

Plenty of people doing it in 7 or less days as well. We are taking it slowly!
This is without a shadow of a doubt the best holiday we have done together in 21 years and we are only half way there. It's amazing.3 -

We knew the sign was there but managed to drive past it in the rain 🙈Sun_Addict said:What’s that a beware of the octopus sign 🤣🤣 Looks like you’re having an amazing trip.
Parked up hoping for a gap in the rain and well we ended up staying half way across the causeway so I could get a picture of it 🤣🤣
Don't think it will be the quietest night we have ever had, it is very exposed. But we couldn't leave without a picture.
Had to run across the bridge, with no footpaths in the pouring rain in the end.1
