And today's drive is Little Gruinard Bay to Ullapool.

We had a lovely breakfast out this morning and we are grabbing a takeaway curry tonight while we have chance. We are back out in the wilds tomorrow 😀

Tonight is our only night we plan to have on a campsite.

The weather hasn't spoiled the trip. We have made the most of what we have got. Not rained yet today which is unusual. Still windy though 🤣🤣🤣

We went over the Bealach na Bà (from Applecross) in full cloud when we 'did' the NC500.  I'm very much into geocaching so my husband parked in the car park at the top - I went off to look for a cache, then the battery died on my GPS and I was wandering around, directionless, in cloud.  Eventually found my way to the road and walked back up it to the car park - was a very scary 15 minutes or so!  Someone stopped their car to ask me if I was OK - 'Yes, fine thanks'... must have looked like a bewildered drowned rat. Definitely need to do it again!

We have a fairly long day today so we will be getting up and about soon. We need to deal with the van tanks, have a top up shop and get some diesel while we are near a petrol station.

Toasted sandwiches for breakfast and stuffed chicken, jacket potato and vegetables for dinner later.

Getting some miles in today after a couple of quieter days. Heading up to the North Coast today.
