Still a youngster, mine is 9. She’s still lively but hobbles a bit.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

It will be a low spends day today.

Breakfast will be from stores,  a sausage sandwich. We have friends coming over later so we are having a takeaway tonight.

I have my second jab this morning.

Our friends are not coming whiles later on so we are going to get the van out and give the exterior a good clean today.

The vaccine Centre were very well organised again this morning. I was in and back out again in no time.

It has taken us a lot longer than we expected to wash the van. It was a bit of an ordeal to be truthful. Three hours 🤔

Still it does look a lot better now ready for the start of our holiday next weekend. Mind you it will be ready for doing again by the time we get back 🤣🤣🤣

Well done on washing the van - it's a long, boring and hard job.  Ours gets done once a year!

It took us a lot longer than we were expecting. 🤔

Ours takes longer than that as it is bigger - 7m long; 2.3m wide and 3.2m high!  We wash, dry and polish once a year over a few days.  Because it takes so long that's why it only gets done once a year!

It's only getting polished and waxed once a year but it will get washed more often as and when it needs it.

Fortunately there are no trees where its parked and the water runs off so the roof doesn't look like it will get too dirty.

    It isn't loads smaller than yours at 6m x 2.3m x 3.0m. Must remember that 3m height 🤣🤣🤣

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and slow cooked turkey and all the trimmings for dinner later.

Not got loads planned for today. The other half wants to polish and wax his car and we will take the dog out for a decent walk somewhere. But other than that I think it will be a chilled day.

It was lovely catch up with friends yesterday. I don't know where the hours went!

Just got back from a lovely walk in Sherwood Forest.

Now back home again. Dog is in bed. I need to prepare dinner shortly. The other half is busy on Google maps looking at places we are going to visit next week.

Mmmm….hadn’t thought about the joys of cleaning the van. We used to got the caravan done on the site we stored it on. Not heard anything about our van yet. We expected it to take longer than the July they stated……
    January spends - £587.58
