It won't be a no spends day today. Had to fill the car up this morning and the dog is at the groomers later.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a tuna salad for my lunch and dinner tonight is salmon, rice and vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • washing the bedding on the van
    • walking the dog x 2
    • taking the dog to the groomers.
I need the car this afternoon to take the dog to the groomers so I have had to drop the other half off at work this morning and then come back. Not really ideal but needs must.

Worth the odd bit of faff for the enjoyment you get out of the van though.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Absolutely. It won't be so bad when I'm at work in the office again. We work around the corner from each other so sharing the car is much easier then.

Just thinking re car: any reason you can’t push the Sierra into service as and when? I’m not sure running you OH into Sheffield when Sheffield is 45 mins each way is the answer tbh. Seems to be happening regularly too.

I'm back at work in the office from some time next month so it won't be an issue then.

I think we have been a bit unlucky and had a string of times we could have done with a second car on the road in quick succession.

We have booked the remainder of the dogs grooming sessions for this year for weekends so no more car shuffles for that either.

We are not sure what we are going to do with the Sierra now. It isn't hurting anything sat in the garage but equally it seems a shame to leave it sat in there doing nothing. Trouble we have now is that it means moving the Hyundai and the van to get the thing out of the garage and with us having the van we are not even sure when it would get used again. I do think it will end up getting sold at some point in the not too distant future.
