So we have changed our plans and we will be heading an hour down the road to what is fast becoming one of our favourite stops at a lovely riverside pub. Think we will have a couple of nights there this time. We will probably only have the one drink tonight just to say we have been in. But we will make up for that tomorrow I'm sure1 -

That's a very sensible idea going to a pub this weekend - definitely need hard standing this weather! Assume it's a Britstop?
We're just back from our holiday so will be at home for the next couple of weeks and then we're off again for about 10 days. Not sure what we're doing after that though. I'm sure we'll think of something though!

We are having next weekend at home as we have some friends coming to stay with us on Saturday. Will spend Sunday cleaning the van then the weekend after we set off on our first proper holiday with the van, 9 days in the Lake District.
We are both looking forward to a break but neither of us has ever been to the Lakes, we have only ever driven through on our way to Scotland. Looking forward to finding some nice places. We are using a mixture of proper sites, Britstops and lay by parking/ car parking so it will be interesting to see how we get on.2 -
Have a good one @RelievedSheff. Card balances will start coming down quickly once you’ve BT’d onto 0% bet you’re looking forward to the CCJ being off your file for good? My worst !!!!!! nightmare getting something like that ha but you’re through now. Mortgage on decent rate, !!!!!! the interest baring cards off onto the 0% and can get on with your life. You’ll have no debt in 5 years time 100% you’ll reach your target.

We will be relieved to get all of the cards back on 0% and start to make inroads into paying them down. Will be glad when the credit card debt is all gone to be truthful.3 -
Enjoy the lakes. We went there last year and had a great time. It was our first time too. Will definitely go again in a couple of years time.

The lakes are beautiful and there are many places that are not busy if you look for them.. Just be aware that weather can change quickly so make sure you take appropriate precautions if you are away from people. Have a wonderful time.3

@RelievedSheff you’ve moved on mate. I actually get why you want to be free of it all after that - must have got bad to get to the point of CCJ etc no judgement from me though. I thought things got bad for me when I had to refinance my btls and that’s def been a motivator - don’t want to end up there again. As I’ve said before only so many £100ks can be found and mitigated. When it’s cleared you’re going to be in a lot better position you’ve got the right mindset, enjoy the good things in life not so bothered about money. Tbh I think that’s an amazing position to be in.Realistically you’re going to smash it once the cards are on the 0%. Then just letting the van finance tick down. Remember you said keep each other accountable ha you don’t need it mate, your mindset is incredible.2
