Not a no spends day today. We are delivering my car to Penrith so we will get some lunch while we are up there.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores though. Cereals for breakfast and pizza for dinner.
It will be a long day today. 2.5 hours up to Penrith and 2.5 hours back again. It will be nice to see the MIL again though.3 -

Just got back home now. It has been a beautiful day and a fantastic drive.
Penrith was looking lovely in the sunshine.
It was lovely to see the MIL after so long. We have exchanged the car for a dozen eggs freshly laid by her hens this morning and a beautiful, incredibly heavy and large hard wood chopping board that her other half has made for us 😃

Loving my new chopping board. It is far too big and heavy to live in the pan draw like our old one so it will take pride of place on the worktop.
The picture doesn't really do justice to what a big heavy lump of wood this is 🤣🤣🤣5 -

Read your news about the van, 100 would be tripping me off. Does poss seem like some sort of cash flow issue dealer side. I’d step carefully - are they providing a warranty? If some kind of in house thing I’d probably be thinking not worth the paper it’s written on. Can’t think of much else they could be providing as an ongoing service so if everything else is right with the van then hopefully this is nothing but a blip - I assume you had an independent inspection?
Penrith looks nice and tbh think you got the better deal swapping that Nissan for a big lump of wood mate. Weather been amazing lately might even get home looking like I’ve been to somewhere sunnier ha thunderstorms are 100 waiting for me taking the wife out first weekend back lol so you’ve been warned.0
