Fry up sounds on point as always.
You always seem to have nice weekends.1 -
It has been a busy day so far. The dog played outside with his ball while we had breakfast, then we had a steady 6 mile walk along a stretch of the canal we have not walked before. It was a very nice walk, will definitely do it again.
Back home now. The dog has had his dinner and is now fast asleep in bed, doubt he will be much trouble for the rest of the day.
Just about to write the Ebay advert for the TV and then I think it is time for a beer.

We try and make the most of every weekend not just for us but for the dog as well. We like to make sure he doesn't get bored. A tired dog is a happy dog, plus he isn't much trouble when he is passed out in bed 🤣🤣🤣alt80 said:Fry up sounds on point as always.

Didn’t realise your dog was so small actually @RelievedSheff he’s tiny. Def true re tiring your dog out ha mine is very lively could be exercised all day and still go for another walk lol.
I do battle with my own head every week re family weekends. Think you see yourself as part of one unit with your OH and dog. I see wife, son and dog as one unit have to work out if I should be part of it from day to day.0 -
I think the camera angle makes him look smaller than he really is in that picture 😀alt80 said:Didn’t realise your dog was so small actually @RelievedSheff he’s tiny. Def true re tiring your dog out ha mine is very lively could be exercised all day and still go for another walk lol.

He isn't huge though. Mind you he still takes up a lot of room when he jumps on the bed 🤣🤣🤣
Of course you should be part of your family unit. They clearly love spending time with you.1 -
Should be a no spends day today.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast again and roast chicken with roasted vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and greens later for dinner.
Not really got much planned for today. There will be a long dog walk involved I'm sure, although it sounds very blowy outside at the minute.
Might get the board games out when we get back. See how we feel.2 -
It looks a bit murky out there right now, hopefully it’ll stay dry and you can enjoy a long walk.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
