Sorry to hear about dog hope he gets well soon probably just the worm treatment. When our dog was a puppy he was sick, wife took him to vets walked out with £160 bill for some anti sickness jab and some weird !!!!!! to inject into his mouth (he was sick twice and hadn’t been ill for about 5 hours by the time wife got him there should have just checked him and sent wife on her way imo). 100% rip off, saw her coming.

Might have mentioned before but why not get a 0% BT card for card 3 - save on the interest. Sorry if I’m going over something that’s been discussed before.
That may well be the route we take with card 3 but we can't do anything until early May when the remortgage goes through and then the CCJ drops off my credit file in July. We will get better offers with that gone. By that time there really will only be a few payments left to pay on that card. We may well just let it run it's course, we will see what the remaining balance is come July and decide then what is the best course of action to take.

The plan may well change before July 🤣🤣🤣

I like to make a plan,  but sticking to said plan is a different story.

Not a no spends day again today. We have an Asda home shopping delivery coming later. No spends other than this though.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I have some game pie from the freezer for my lunch and the other half has requested a pizza for dinner tonight. Nice and easy so I am happy to oblige with that one. We will have that later on after a few beers watching a film on the sofa.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • walking the dog x 2
The dog seems to be back to his usual self this morning. He has wolved his breakfast down this morning. So I think it must have been the worm and flea treatment that knocked him about a bit and made him feel a bit off colour.

Glad your dog is feeling better. My vet told me not to give my dog flea and worm treatment on the same day. He said to leave a 2 week gap between the two treatments. I didn't think to ask why but assume it might be something to do with lots of chemicals all at once.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Our vet has never recommended that. I will have a chat with them next time he is due his worming tablet as well.

Must remember to order him a new tick collar as well before Spring. The ticks were terrible here last year!

Glad he's feeling better. They're like babies and can't tell you what's wrong.
    Any news on the boat?

Had a quick chat with the guy who is buying it yesterday. I sent him the first draft of the user manual we have been writing for him. All seems to be ticking along nicely. He is just moving money between accounts and needs time to get that all sorted. All being well it should be the back end of next week or the beginning of the week after when he is ready to complete the sale.

All sounds good then but I bet the days are dragging on this.
Everything crossed for you and my monies on you finding a van sooner rather than later.

It has seemed like a long week this week I won't lie.

I think the trouble we will have with the van is that we have narrowed it down to the make and model that we want which is fine, but there just are not that many of them around and very few for sale. At the moment there are only two for sale in the UK. A 2017 model which would be fine but the mileage is perhaps a little higher than we would have liked, or a new pre registered one which is more money than we ideally want to pay!

We won't start looking properly until May when the remortgage goes through. It will be sods law though that we have the money and a good one pops up for sale before we are ready  :/
