Part replaced in the boiler and it is no better than it was before  :/

The dog was a pain while the engineer was here. One minute he wanted to be his friend and the next he wanted to growl and bark at him. Mind you he is in a mood today as we had to force him to eat his worming tablet this morning. Glad that's only once every three months!

What a pain with the boiler. My dog is a nightmare to give worming tablets to. No matter how I try to disguise by wrapping it up in bits of food, she always manages to spit it out.

Like SA's dog ours just eats around whatever you put the tablet in and spits the tablet back out. We have a real struggle getting it down him each time.

He has to have his flea treatment tonight. Luckily he doesn't mind having that on!

£150 paid to card 5 today and the window cleaner is coming today so that is another £13. So not a no spends day today.

There will be no other spends though. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a jacket potato for my lunch and dinner tonight is Cajun salmon with tortellini and vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing
    • finishing the how to boat manual
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • walking the dog x 2
The dog seems a bit off colour this morning. He has refused his breakfast and gone back to bed. He had his flea and worm treatment yesterday so hopefully it is just that which has knocked him off a bit. Won't do anything too strenuous with him today and let him have a bit of a rest day.

The mirror for the downstairs loo should be arriving today so that is one job we can do this weekend. Not that it will take long.

Started the motorhome fund with the deposit we have taken on the boat. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks that fund should have a rather substantial top up :D

Card 2 will be paid off next Wednesday and will take the remaining debt balance not quite below the £20k mark.

The dog is sound asleep in his kitchen bed at the minute. Hopefully he will sleep it off and feel better when he wakes up again.

Have managed to tempt the dog to eat a little bit of tuna so at least he has had a bit of something. He really didn't wasn't his usual self on our lunchtime walk around the block though. He has gone back to bed again now.

Sorry to hear about dog hope he gets well soon probably just the worm treatment. When our dog was a puppy he was sick, wife took him to vets walked out with £160 bill for some anti sickness jab and some weird !!!!!! to inject into his mouth (he was sick twice and hadn’t been ill for about 5 hours by the time wife got him there should have just checked him and sent wife on her way imo). 100% rip off, saw her coming.

Might have mentioned before but why not get a 0% BT card for card 3 - save on the interest. Sorry if I’m going over something that’s been discussed before.
