We have just accepted an over the asking price no survey cash offer on the boat.

Just waiting on a deposit coming through now and hopefully the sale should complete in the next 10 working days.

That seems very quick from decision to sale and good news
Is there any mileage paying your (interest bearing) debts with some of the money?
Presume finance for the eventual van will be cheaper than some of what you currently have.
I understand though if you really want to keep this leisure asset/amount separate

We are crossing all fingers and toes for the guy to get his ducks in a row quickly. It is a cash sale, no finance involved he just needs to move money around. Should be done and dusted in a couple of weeks. 

We are keeping the money separately and what we get for the boat will be the deposit for the motorhome.

Great news on the boat sale - fingers crossed it goes without any hiccups

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having pizza for my lunch and dinner tonight is a mixed grill.

Todays jobs include:

• working from home
• cleaning the kitchen
• generating a receipt for the boat deposit
• starting to write a "how to" owners manual for the boat
• walking the dog x 2

We really are hoping that the sale of the boat goes through quickly. Now that we have made the decision to sell it we want it gone ASAP. But we were in this situation last year and the sale fell through so we are not getting our hopes up too much until the remaining balance lands in our bank account.
