Weighted blankets.....thoughts please?

My daughter has bought me a weighted blanket for Christmas as a surprise . I put it over my 13.5 tog duvet last night. I only managed about 10 minutes under it. It felt so heavy and uncomfortable I couldn’t move! Perhaps that’s the point. I feel very disappointed and don’t know whether I should have another try or ask her if she can return it.0

It’s 8kg 120cm x 150 cm. I’m 62kg. I sleep in a double bed. So, should it be ok for me, do you think?lisyloo said:

Mine is 8kg and I weigh about 54kg but normally the recommended weight is 10% of your bodyweight so for you, that would be a 6kg blanket.pattycake said:
