Lloyds credit card has a 1% cashback offer this month until november its only for a month .
Rumor is Halifax will have the same offer .
Keep a eye on your emails for the offer as more info comes in .

Halifax have sent out an email to activate similar offer - 1% on spends between 23/10/20 and 23/11/20 with automatic credit of cashback within 30 days of 23/11/20.

No emails here yet. I have two Halifax cards and a Lloyds card. Is the cashback capped?

Your Experian Score/Rating bears no resemblance on real-life lending decisions, as you’ve discovered.

Barclays require ID and payslips for fraud prevention etc. and it’s pretty common practice with them - what’s the issue with providing what they’ve asked for?
You can use a scanner app on your phone to scan documents.
Just laziness! What they were asking for looked quite complicated at the time. I didn't have a scanner at the time (literally just bought one) - didn't think about the phone route.
Also, I'm not sure if I will satisfy their requirements. Just returned from several years working in Hong Kong so no income proof. Now retired but only just received my first pension payment. Living mainly on savings/investments which is difficult to authenticate.

Just don't need the hassle - I'm used to credit cards being sent out immediately upon completion of a simple online application.

i'm a huge fan of the crypto.com card. If you're willing to invest (read: risk) on a deposit for it (for which you get up to 20% interest), you can get free spotify, netflix, amazon prime, lounge access, 5% cashback etc etc.
These boards are generally anti crypto so doubt there'll be a "Second" here, but you know - do your DD. Very active reddit board on it.
    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.

Perhaps you don't spend enough on the card.... lol

Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Someone else on here messaged me encouraging this. Not sure I am knowledgeable enough in this area or have the risk appetite for anything crypto related.

Well I'm no expert either, but it looks as though to get the card with 5% cashback , you'd need to have an 'investment' of 100,000 CRO, which is close to £10k in real money. And CRO only has a market cap of about $3bn, so hardly a big player.

    oh and it's not 5% cashback, it's 5% 'CRO-back'

If you've already got a very large and diversified portfolio and want to take a punt with 10k that you are ok with losing entirely, then go for it. Not for me...

Had exactly the same offer on an MBNA card which has only ever been used for the introductory balance transfer and was cleared in July(ish).

Made a few bigger purchases last month that could.have waited if I'd known lol.
