Oh right. Sorry I think I missed that. I'm going to use their online service for both Acknowledgement and defence.

1) Tell us the date of issue
2) Still not a fine and never has been. INVOICE
3) Do the AOS 5 days on at earliest from the Date of Issue
4) Go to the newbies thread and notice it has a template defence

The date of the issue is 03 Feb 2021. The claim form says I have 14 days to respond from the day of the service (day of service is taken as 5 days after the issue date).
Do I submit the defence form as well when I fill out the Acknowledgement of service?

With a Claim Issue Date of 3rd February, you have until Monday 22nd February to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. 

To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 8th March 2021 to file your Defence.

That's nearly four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.

Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do NOT file your defence on MCOL.  Follow the guidance now posted by @KeithP just above this post.
