Not too much going on here and switched straight into survival mode right now. If I can get through each day with everyone alive and fed, then that’s as much as I can hope for 😂

DD is going through some major changes and only cuddles with mummy will do. Unfortunately she has decided she must have these between 11pm and 2am to sleep and so I’m like a walking zombie right now. We’ve started weaning and she needs way more than the resources say, so she pretty much went straight into 3 meals a day! We’re still going through lots of veg combinations and she’s started some fruit as well. I’m sure she’ll be on the porridge in a couple of weeks!

I am attempting to do some spring cleaning as I definitely need a sort out and I’m sick of having stuff everywhere. I am limiting it to the bedrooms, bathrooms and kids stuff though as that’s where the mess is right now. Am doing whatever I can wherever I can so it’s taken me about a week to do 3 tiny drawers! No rush though, although it would be nice to get it done this year if possible!

I have been completely changing my wardrobe. Got sick of slumming it and not having sorted out my wardrobe for over 5 years and so haven’t had a really good purge. I then bought a fair few things second hand online to fill gaps. Still got a bit of tweaking to do, but I am loving how empty my wardrobe looks - it is easy to find things and most importantly, I love and use everything in it and it makes me feel a bit more human when I get dressed in the morning! I can always hope DH will follow my lead, but I think he’s more excited about the fact he will have more space for his clothes 🤦‍♀️. We’ve always shared the space 50:50.

Need to catch up on finances this month still. I think the joint is in a good place and the next plan will be to save up for built in storage for the lounge (maybe next year) and some sort of fold up bed solution for the once a year when people come to stay since we will have to get rid of the spare bed once DD goes into her own room. I suspect neither of these things will be cheap, so plan to save over the next few months.

Hoping for a low spend month this month as am brain dead, so am pretty much unable to decide anything or function right now! But I do need to get on top of presents for Xmas and the millions of birthdays over the next few months.

I do wonder if it’s actually possible to spring clean and/or declutter without making a bigger mess to start with 🤔. Maybe that’s just me, but right now I have some lovely drawers, but the rest of the place is more of a mess than before!

I too find decluttering very messy. Well done on your efforts as always. LOL at your DH taking over the space you cleared

Still lounging in bed. Did was horrific last night and insisted on being cuddled between 11pm and 4am, so am totally knackered.

There is so much changing in her little life, I’m trying to figure out which thing I need to change. I am already feeding her much more as she’s greedy. Just swapped her cot round the other way so it feels like she is lying right next to me. I really hope it helps 🤞

Need to tidy up some of the horrible mess I’ve made this weekend so at least the cleaner can come in on Monday. Will continue a little bit of spring cleaning if I get a chance - I would be happy with a tiny amount as I just want to see some progress. Also the usual piles of washing to sort out 😬..

How old is DD now? My DS was a guzzler. I started weaning him asap

I suppose it's good that DD is weaning, but not so good about it being so demanding on you!
We cleared our utility today, so it looks beautiful...
...but we now have 3 boxes of stuff to find a new home for. 😟

She is 6 months. She cried for “real” food earlier and so I had to feed her dinner an hour earlier. I think we need to get off the veg and fruit quite quickly and fill her up! Maybe porridge is the way to go for breakfast..

She’s also demanding more milk and trying to ramp up supplies, so I’m awake every 1-2 hours overnight 😬. I dread to think what will happen when she starts crawling…
