I waited for RAC as a lone female for 4 hrs! Is this acceptable?

Years ago I remember going out one evening. We passed a woman who had broken down. We stopped and I fixed her car. She was happy and went on her way. My girlfriend wasn't happy because we were going out for a meal and I ended up with dirty hands and clothes. It seemed a normal thing to do at the time but I wouldn't do it now. I expect a woman would just lock the doors and windows and scream if someone approached. I suppose the difference is you didn't have a mobile phone in those days.0

2 pensioners left in a layby on a duel carriageway for 5 and a half hours after 9 phone calls, being told twice they were coming within 20 mins, call out escalated to critical 3 times only to find when they eventually arrived that the recovery man was only notified 10 minutes ago!!!! None of this is in dispute. I wrote asking for compensation and the offer is that they would add 3 months free cover to my next renewal! This is not acceptable as there is no way I'm going to renew with them every again. Am I wrong to ask for a cash compensation and if so, how do I get it please?-1

You could say that because women are more likely to be harassed or worse by creeps it’s right for them to get a priority response vs a man to whom little will happen if he waits longer. The outcome is a safe driver and to ensure that the woman needs a speedier response? In a truly equal society feminism isn’t needed but we aren’t there yet by a country mile.

I am a lone, disabled (amongst others, I am unable to regulate my own body temperature) male and I have been waiting more than 4 hours today on the hottest day ever in the UK.
But I guess this is fine, because I'm not female.• "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."
