Why does she need cash? Its entirely possible to do without it these days, I don't think I've touched a banknote this year! More secure too.1

I got money out for a neighbour during lockdown and I refused to take her card.
we got around the situation by me withdrawing the money needed & her giving me a cheque0 -

When the bank say 'it's not allowed', what they really mean is that 'if the card and PIN are given to someone else to use, don't come whining to us for your money back if fraudulent use results'. That's all: it's technical breach of the t and c's.
Make sure as many of the services as possible that she needs to pay for are on DD, reduce cash requirements to the minimum.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

This might not work either but I am wondering if she has a mobile that can use a banking app. I do a lot of transactions by paying money into accounts directly. Or getting a simple tablet, and putting the app on that. A lot of people who can't cope with pcs find they can use tablets.0
