How do you get money out if you can't leave the house.

My mother's severely disabled and can't leave the house. Someone has been getting money for her using her bank card and pin, but the bank tells me that isn't allowed. How do you get money out if you can't go to the bank and don't use the internet?

You can't, so she'll need to continue with her current arrangement, unless she wants to give someone a cheque to pay into their account, and they hand over the money.2

If she cant go out and cant use the internet then can she make you her appointee officially so you can get money out for her. I assume this is to pay carers or similar? Can a standing order be set up for payments?0

She could also use telephone banking to transfer money to another account if she can't use Internet or mobile banking.1

@Candice-Marie Have you got POA for her ? If so you can get the money .Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill2

She can’t. Either she has to move to telephone or online banking or continue the current arrangement. Or I suppose she writes a cheque to a third party (eg the OP) who then makes payments on the mother’s behalf.0
