I know but you said you had appealed it 'on behalf of the registered keeper' (company) i.e. leaving the potential Defendant, the company!

    Wrong move.

I explained what to do now, better late than never, to avoid a court claim going to the company.

If you'd got the company to transfer liability to YOU as we advise in the NEWBIES thread then you (as hirer//lessee) would have won at POPLA.

Of course a transfer of liability has to be in writing from the company.  There was a slip on the NTK for this, but it can be done by letter/email.

OK great, so I still have the NTk in my drawer at work, could I fill in that slip and send that or is it too late?

YOU can't fill anything in.    You can't transfer liability to yourself.  You are not the registered keeper.

Why are you asking if it's too late, given I've now told you twice (now 3 times) for the company to transfer liability to avoid the stupid claim coming to them?  If it was too late why would I post what I've said 3 times and tell the company to do it and explain why?

Does this mean it will go to court?
