Woke up cold this morning, so as it is bed changing day, I've got out the winter duvet, but I think my coldness is related to my tiredness.Hoovering done|Bins doneWM x 2 on the go.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hello, I'm still here - just recovering my equilibrium after 4 exhausting but very enjoyable days with DGS3+4.
Now I've got about a week of peace before (hopefully) the decorator comes. The house is in a reasonable state, so is DH (not that I've actually tried reasoning with him today), and there is gardening and sewing to be done. But first some essential admin, which I would have started half an hour ago if it were not for a most welcome phonecall from my 14-month-old goddaughter and her parentsI am very tired and craving marmalade sandwiches, which means that there might be another migraine just around the corner, but I shall have to plod on and get this job done before I retire to the sofa.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed (I'll keep a few spoons back for myself, but there are plenty in the drawer if you find the cooking utensils pot empty) xx5 -
Hello all. Stayed in bed a little longer this morning as there was no way I was walking the dogs on the rain before the paid stuff. However since finishing first shift we did manage a walk and only got a little wet. Yesterday I washed the sofa throws from the list. Cushions and pet beds had been done earlier in the week.Spend less now, work less later.8

Shopping arrived
cat trays half done.. I was mid-shovel when Mr T turned up without his duct tape or a Snickers!! (this is the level of my humour today!)
I've been tittering like a muppet in the kitchen.. random thought processes... What do you have on your fish? ... Treacle... (Cat is called Treacle) .... and the cat sat on the fish tank is the equivalent of me sitting on the fridge.. hence the tittering.. I think I need to get out!1x WM1x DWCalled to get dryer repaired after it took 4 attempts to dry a handful of undies.. too wet to walk to the shed.
Shopping all away
Bills paid, cat food/litter bought for the month, I bought new tights to try.. I gave up on normal ones and bought footless ones.. my porky legs take so much out of the length to make up the width they never fit. I have no idea how taller people manage to find tights which fit. I've sorted Dots birthday presents too so I am now destitute but all Augusts bills are paid and darn it... I was going to say birthdays sorted for September but I have DS1's on the 29th... he is 29 on the 29th this year.. and 6 weeks later Moomin is 18... next year I have a 21st, 30th and 2x 40th.. thankfully only 1 wants a party and he can get lost unless he organises it himself..
MIL has said to use the money for the car to pay for a holiday for next year.. We are there Wednesday to Friday.. I ordered a couple of ding dinners and they subbed one for one I won't eat.. and didn't even mention it, I didn't notice until putting it away and it was too late to return.
We have enough cheese to feed a million mice.. and so many peas.. I LOVE peas.
I was planning to tidy my pit today but again it has been bumped in favour of a habitable kitchen.. I will need to do it soon to drag my winter stuff out.
Round.. so proud of your progress and bravery.. I might let people in mine one day... like never! haha.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Piggers, for tights that fit, try snag on tinternet.
Flying before my second shift consisted of ironing two shirts. And that's it today.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

Home from work, glass of wine poured before easy dinner of burgers and chips. Madonna ready to blast in the kitchen, joining Round. Long weekend off here before the dreaded week next week. Oh, and in the flylady spirit - 1 x wm to report, washing still wet on the indoor line.7 -
Evening all
Yay it’s Friday, woot woot! Paid stuff done, easy supper of sausage egg and chips cooked and munched. Kitchen swished over, glass of wine poured and I think that’s me for the evening.Have a good one, back tomorrow for a weekend catch up x6 -
Jazee.. it is theirs I am trying.. but I got footless ones and some chub rub shorts and only one pair with feet!! They are also a small business so I feel I am helping them out since the government have screwed everyone of them over. I like to try to do my bit.
Fayolle.. I'm not even 5ft 3 so a bit below 'national average' and I can not find tights which fit.. Pixie is set to be around 5ft 10 as an adult (according to centile charts).. she has no chance at all!! Except she will be as wide as a pin and I am built like a teletubby!
These girls are being awful today.. and the sky is leaking so I can't even hoik them into the garden.. Dot has completely lost any sense of reason and they are all screeching and running wild.. I'm sat here with a cuppa letting them get on with it and wishing bed time would hurry up lol. They aren't hurting anyone just being full of beans and loud!
3 dinners done.. Chicken and leek bake, meatballs and spaghetti and sausage and pasta (not spaghetti!)..
Apparently we are set to go to the outlaws on Wednesday so I have packing to do.. that always helps get my bedroom tidy.. definitely a good thing! I may be packing my thermals! I'm REALLY hoping my new tights are here and I bought myself a new dress too so I would like that too but estimated delivery on that is Thursday
I've also got 2, very necessary having been put off for a couple of years, new mattresses for Pixie and Moomin.. Pixie has been complaining for months about hers being lumpy and hurting her and Mooms has a memory foam topper it is so bad and she has CP so needs more support now she is heavier (all 8 stone of her!) so £35 Wowcher offers was too good to miss! I am getting 3 more for the boys and Twinkle when I have sold enough on ebeast..I have enough for half a mattress at the moment from todays sales. Once the imps are in bed I am listing some more stuff. I am aiming for £250 in September.. christmas and mattresses... If anyone cares to join me on an Ebeast/selling/decluttering challenge?? Quids for Christmas Challenge... dang we've not done one of these for YEARS I've been so busy!!
Ooh.. the girls are getting themselves ready for bed... who am I to argue?! I have such wise children! haha
