Morning xx
I've made my bed, stood the airer outside in the sun (or clouds, although it was the sun when I put it out!!!) and WM has just finished swishing it's first load. I've supped my first brew, eaten toast and marmalade, and cogitated and procrastinated but I guess I really ought to get dressed now.
I woke up at 5.45 am with such plans; turned over for five more minutes and woke up at 7.55 am with a mega dose of idleitis - didn't get up until 8.30 am. Definitely idleitis.
Round 1 =
get dressed
brew 2
peg out washing
Yawn

Round 1 completed + WM load 2 is swishing, two cardboard boxes recycled, clothes now pegged on the airer outside as when I went out the airer was stood up and the clothes were in the floor!.
Bird seed is ready and I've rinsed a plastic bottle ready to recycle. Brew 2 first though

Badcat... sounds like a plan.. nothing worse than something you have to look at daily and it's niggling.. I hope the grey pulls it together for you.

2 loads of washing outside, HHI, fridge sort of sorted, and 2 loads of weeds dug from the allotment.
DH has resumed decluttering his books from the box room. That’s what he tells me he is doing anyway. What I see is piles of books, boxes and other detritus all over the landing, the LR floor and the kitchen table. At least a 20+ year old video player has been let go, I suppose. Apparently there are at least 2 more in the loft...
I might go and spend an hour deadheading in the garden and channel my inner Penelope Keith / Margot. Showing my age again....6 -
Since last post I have cleared the shared alleyway of weeds, s&sd bathrooms, shined kitchen sink, walked the dogs, had lunch and walked another three miles or so with DH. Also did four rows of knitting. Just having a cuppa and will read a magazine and then have a soak in the bath.

Afternoon all
First coat of paint is on and almost dry, early signs are that it’s going to look quite good, even DH (who was worried changing it would ruin it and didn’t really want to do it) came in to the room and said, wow that is looking so much better! Second coat will be done in the morning, will post pic of finished article (provided it looks ok lol)More laundry done and dried this afternoon, have also done the ironing so that’s out of the way. This evening my plan is supper, reset kitchen then a soak in the bath.

Hi all
Glad its going well Badcat. We decided that we needed to make the most of the half decent weather so 35 miles on the bike done with DH, just under 1400ft of hill climbing, hope I can get out of bed in the morning!
Tomorrows plan is a big clothes and shoe sort out, I have been putting this off for ages, I can hardly put my clean clothes away and I have so much I dont wear. Inspired by Pigpen I will be ebaying what I can - and I will be ruthless. But first a bit of telly and an early night!6 -

My DD is 44 today - how did that happen?
I have
- been to church
- stripped both our beds
- done WMx4 and dried most of it outside
- cooked main meal at lunchtime
- caught up with some zzz
- done QHI (pillowcases)
- walked Rosie
- done some admin and printouts ready for work tomorrow
- and joined in an online welcome service this evening for a friend just starting in her new church on the far side of the country.
Now about to phone DD, get supper, make up the beds, and collapse in front of the TV for an hour or so before falling into mine
See you all on the new thread xx
