There we go.. I do so much better with company..
Trays depooped, DW on, 5 items posted, 6th ready to go, Apples replenished, girls fed, cats fed and nail fixed. OH and Meem away to work.
Sides need a wipe in the kitchen but I can do those while doing dinner so I am making a cuppa and it can come upstairs with me. I need to go find my inhaler because that is still needed at least 2-3 times daily and I am not using it unless absolutely necessary. It is a bit better than it was but I have a very mild cold on top of the hayfever which isn't helping.
upstairs.. packing, ebaying, binning and putting stuff away.

Afternoon all
progress report from me...
Ground floor rooms, stairs and bedroom all hoovered and dusted
bathroom, en suite and downstairs loo scrubbed
hard floors downstairs all mopped
more washing loaded in ready to go, it’s still looking like it might rain so I’m keeping an eye on it.
DH is still working, when he eventually finishes I will hoover and dust the top floor rooms.
I’m going to sit now and have an hour with my book I think.
Take care all x7 -
The day is fast disappearing in a blur of feeling like I am doing very little.
DD drove to work and I brought the car back. Then I went down to the outskirts of big town, where my hairdresser has set up shop in her house to get my hair sorted. Back home, quick lunch, plunged the kitchen sink to make it flow away better, traded plums and beans for pears and cooking apples with NDN, found a home for the 10 jars of plum jam, and just finished HHI x 2. Wm x 2 run and drying outside, DH was corralled to drop off a couple of birthday gifts and is now mowing the grass. Off to pick up DD shortly, then I’m hoping to get a quiet hour in the gh.
Pigpen - I have an illogical fear of ebeasting. However, I know that I have Stuff piled in the loft and that any money would come in very useful, so I will ponder and possibly join in....I’m thinking about taking a couple of days off work when the schools go back (not least because I will have to get DD there and back now), so am planning all my jobs...that will go on my list.6 -
Hi all
Pigpen I should join you but last time I ebayed I made so little, people expect stuff for nothing, then you have to package it all up and take it to the post office. Will have a look and see what I have, I do need to clear out some clothes.
ASB I would say get settled back at work first, like you say you have enough on with all that and you need to be kind to yourself.
Strange day here. Awake very early (DS left for work at 4.15am) but I didnt get up until 8.30am. I had a Mr T collection booked, nearest big supermarket is 20 miles away so I said I would pick up Mum and we would wander around the market and have a coffee and cake somewhere. She was really up for this yesterday then when I picked her up she said she didnt want to go anywhere because it's rubbish weather and her hip hurts. She came in the car with me to the supermarket collection and we came straight home, bit of a disappointment to be honest.
So shopping all wiped and put away, going to do spreadsheets next. Heating is on for an hour, it's like October.

Oh how I wish the previous occupant had been a Flylady/gent. Everything I took with me was pressed into use. Or the landlord could have got an end of tenancy cleaning team in but no..,me..,shattered.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all
Been awake since 4, work issues milling round in my brain and even writing everything down didn’t help. Oh well, I might declutter a snooze later.
Weather seems good today although still chilly for August! I got most of the washing dried yesterday before the heavens opened, finished it off indoors. Still more to go though so wm set to swish with first load, I never got to clean the top floor rooms as DH worked until later so that will be done today.DH will do a tip run with the old carpet and I have to pop and pick up some paint, I’ve decided I can’t live with the colour clash and I am painting the fireplace, going for pale grey to tone in with the rest of the room rather than white. Thanks again to Pigpen for the idea x
Hugs to any in need, will be back later with a progress report xx8
