"Agreed ... and this was the dispute that I was involved in with the Lease firm, but unfortunately i had a direct debit with the lease firm and had to wear the losses on those occasions."
The indemnity claim process
Under the Direct Debit Guarantee, the rules around refunds are particularly strong. A customer can request a refund (known as an "indemnity claim") for any payment, and provided the bank agrees with the validity of their indemnity claim, the customer will receive an immediate refund. Further, there is no time limit on when indemnity claims can be made.

there is no reason why you cannot try to get them back. You probably have the law on yur side, Be assertive. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
You didn't have to wear those losses.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello Gents.
I appreciate all of the kind & helpful responses so far. So I have received another letter from CST today (earlier than anticipated, as the previous given date to respond was the 3rd September, see the previous letter uploaded).
They have sent an LBC today (see below), and I would be extremely grateful of suggested next steps. Shall i begin requesting SARs from APCOA & CST?
PS. I probably went overboard on the editing but I wanted to be sure there were no giveaways!

We don't recommend DL because they do not have a photo of you against which they can compare it. You could scan it and redact information apart from your address as that is all they want. Sympathise with the difficulty getting utility bills these days in any situation, as everywhere wants to go paperless yet companies still want a bill that has been sent to your address. Some will accept copies downloaded from your utility supplier web site. Check out what it says on the ICO web site as proof of ID.1
