Why would they migrate from Visa debit to Visa debit?

What about this new card makes it "more secure"?

Why have we only received a replacement for one of the four debit cards in the family?

The card being replaced was only sent last year and still had 2 years left. It is Visa just like before.
All this and an email to verify Clubcard personal details. Has there been a security breach somewhere?

Wonder if it's just one type of card - iirc didn't they used to say if the 7th digit on your card was a number 5; then it's a basic card (ie restricted online variant)? Is it just these being replaced? Or the others that don't have a number 5 there?

Anyone else noticed that new Tesco debit card colour scheme is exactly the same as Metro debit cards?
