I think the powers that be are on about making travelling between different areas a 'no no' once the lockdown finishes, and that the tier system will be with us again, but probably a bit more severe than before. Soooo if MIL lives in a different area she may not be allowed to travel to yours, but just make sure that she doesn't decide to come before it kicks in and stay for the duration!

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Nearly got all my list done today. Just didn't get round to doing the en-suite, so I'll have to add that to tomorrow's list. I sent my COVID test off, so should know in the next few days if I have it. If it does come back positive, I will be shocked!!! I don't really go anywhere to get it. When they sent me the letter saying I had been selected to take part in the study, I thought I might as well.
I am pleased with myself today as I have finished my Christmas shopping. Did quite a few orders in different places, so it should all be coming through soon. Will try and wrap it as it comes in. I even managed to order an £18 Lego set for my nephew with my Nectar points, which have been building up. Just need to get some cards, but my niece is going to make some for me, seeing as I can't go to the shops to get anything. I would rather give her some money for them than buying them online. She's really good at cardmaking.
Money in today was good. I received £10.25 from Panelbase, £5.63 from Prolific and £2.93 from Neevo. I hit my £10 earnings target too (£10.35 actually) thanks to surveys from YouGov (£0.35), Prolific (£5) and Panelbase (£5 - answering a survey for a trial of crisps I did).

Afternoon
I haven't been on here for a week, but I haven't been doing nothing in that time. I've got all my Christmas presents sorted out, and my phone has also been paid off (with a little bit of help from my OH). So I can now concentrate on getting my credit card cleared. I've set myself the target of clearing it by my 40th birthday in April next year - so that is 5 months to clear it. The balance is £2,652.57, so I know that is going to take some doing. Over £500 a month won't be easy, and I know I won't be able to do it solely with my extra earnings, especially if I go back to work next week, although I will only be doing 3 evenings a week (6-9 at the moment, depending on when they finally update the guidance for vulnerable people).
So my plan is to take it £100 at a time. I'm nearly at my first pending £100:
£36.42 confirmed on Topcashback - just waiting for it to become payable
£32 worth of online mystery shopping surveys - going to get those done by the end of Sunday
£16.68 in PayPal - will withdraw it £50 at a time and pay it off.
£3 from a Pinecone survey - did it this afternoon, so just need to wait for payment and I can get a bank transfer.
£88.10
I'm also getting on well with my cross stitch bookmark for my sister. I'm about half way through, and have been doing an hour or so each night.

Evening
Been doing lots of bits and pieces today. I've reached over £100 in pending payments/work:- £36.42 confirmed on Topcashback - just waiting for it to become payable
- £32 worth of online mystery shopping surveys - going to get those done by the end of Sunday (2 done today)
- £21.87 in PayPal - will withdraw it £50 at a time and pay it off.
- £3 from a Pinecone survey - did it this afternoon, so just need to wait for payment and I can get a bank transfer.
- £10 Asda voucher from Lifepoints - will just add it to my weekly shop payment, and then pay the £10 off the card. Had problems ordering it on Lifepoints though, so have to wait a week whilst they sort it out, but the points are there waiting.
I am definitely going back to work on Wednesday next week, as long as nothing changes with the government advice before then. I have also offered to do extra on the Sunday after Christmas. They need help pricing the sale on the Sunday morning (6-10am!!!) and I have offered. Would love the overtime, and there won't be any customers in, so it's safer for me.

Evening everyone
Thought it was time I posted again. I have been a bit busy, what with going back to work and all that entails. I'm not doing too many hours (mainly due to my oxygen only lasting so long), but I have done a few extra shifts, so I will be getting some overtime that I can use to pay off my card. I think so far, with the overtime I have completed and that I've got booked in, it works out as £135. I've even done a 4 hour shift, and my oxygen was fine, so going forwards, I might see if they will let me extend my 3 hour shifts to 4 hours, but think that might have to wait until after Christmas. I feel fine physically, although it has played havoc with my back, as I'm not used to having the oxygen at the moment, although it is getting better. I was a bit apprehensive at first, and a worried about COVID, but I've been on the tills all the time, behind the screen, and am sanitising my hands after each customer. I also wear my mask all the time, and it's not too busy in the evenings. I am glad that I went back to work, and it has been lovely to see my friends there.
I have been paying bits and pieces off my card, and am pleased to say the balance is currently £2,499.58. I've got a few things that I'm waiting for, and will pay them off when they come in, hopefully this week. I am still determined to pay this off, and hope to do it as quickly as possible.
