Well yesterday was a complete waste. Woke up and the room was spinning. I get that every so often, and it's best to do as little as possible until the dizziness subsides, which took all day really. I feel better this morning, but I've got a busy day as I'm spending it with my sister, niece and nephew.
So my MIL has received an offer on her house which she has accepted. The buyers aren't selling their house, so there's no chain, which means she needs to get looking for another property pronto. She's coming back to stay here for a bit so she can view properties. Fingers crossed she finds something, as otherwise she'll be moving in with us, which I am desperate to avoid!! This means that tomorrow I'll have to get the house tided up and then I'll probably be driving her around to view places, seeing as my OH has to work. I really need to start earning some cash too though. Can't wait until she's moved and it's all over!!

Evening everyone
My MIL has gone back home today, so it was only a flying visit. She has found somewhere she wants to buy and has had an offer accepted, but her buyer now can't afford to buy her house outright, so is now dependant on selling their house first. Hopefully it will all get sorted out, but for now, I am forgetting all about it and concentrating on myself - I've more than done my bit!! Anyway, with the new lockdown, I won't have to see her for a bit.
Speaking of which, as I am extremely vulnerable, I won't be able to go back to work on Tuesday now. I'm a bit disappointed, as I was looking forward to going back, but it can't be helped. At least they are extending furlough. I must contact my manager tomorrow and see that this is the case and I won't have to go in next week.
I'm going to try really hard to earn some extra money from home during November. I want to earn at least £300, in cash and vouchers, for Christmas mainly (not saying that I would spend £300 on Christmas though!!). My mum gave me £200 the other day. She does a Christmas saving club for herself and some other people, and she often puts a bit away for me too over the year, just as her way of saying thank you for all the little things I do for her. So I put the money in the bank today and then paid it off my iPhone. I owe £104 on that now, which is due on the 22nd December.
So my plan for November is to get money for Christmas, and then when I'm done with that, I will start paying the iPhone off again. Would love to be able to get everything for Christmas sorted by December. This will leave me free to start clearing my credit card (around £2k) at the start of next year, aiming to get it cleared by April.

Glad you've got a bit of a breather for now. Good luck with the earnings. That's a shame about not being able to go back to work now, but at least they've extended the furlough.
