Aww thanks for the support. Interview today was awful in the way they just ask generic corporate questions and nothing at all relevant to the job. Got an interview tomorrow too so I’ll do that too.Ive got a sick note for 3 weeks off the GP for anxiety so I’m hoping that will get me a bit of SSP and other than that not heard anything from work. They haven’t sent me any info on disciplinary procedures or who to contact or timescales.... absolutely nothing at all.Money wise I haven’t spent anything in a week apart from bills and a £60 food shop so there are plus sides to being depressed in bed all the time lol. Fingers crossed for the SSP anyway as that would at least cover the mortgage. My next biggest outgoing is council tax. If I don’t get sorted in a few weeks I’ll have to contact them about the paymentsMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

ACAS can be a big help for anything work/legal/discipline related. You can phone them for free and they give you info on your rights. Good luck with interviews and hope you get sorted soon xMortgage start date Nov 2014 - £90,545 over 25 years

Treat the interview as experience, then you know how to do those type next time.
They are always quite slow at handing information over, I assume there's no way for you to access policies online?
Have another quick look over your outgoings, just in case there's something else which can be cut back. Is your CT over 12 months normally as that will reduce the payment too.
Good luck tomorrow 🤞Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Well I didn’t get the first job... the feedback was very impressed with application and experience but didn’t score well enough at interview. That’s definitely a goal for future interviews to get some interview training sorted. I remember doing it in college and uni but was comfortable in my job for a long time so not had experience for years. The 2nd one went well they’re happy to progress me into the next stage but I’m going to put it on hold whilst I deal with my current employer. I don’t want to look like I’m jumping before I’m pushed so to speak.I was awake all night reading the trust disciplinary policy and I think it might turn out ok in the end. I haven’t done anything anywhere serious enough for them to dismiss me. Having said that I had a conversation with my line manager on Friday afternoon which triggered a full blown breakdown. He was so mean and made it sound like he doesn’t want me back. He is just office staff though and doesn’t know me. They’re refusing to forward the reference to the NMC from the managers that do know me as it is ‘too good’... absolutely ridiculous.Ive spent very little from my bank accounts so have enough to cover 2 months direct debits before going into overdraft.I’m gonna give it another week and then may have to consider swapping to universal credit. I’m also thinking of applying for supermarkets/ postman jobs in the meantime but I really want to get back to my real job ASAP.I’m a bit gutted with the mortgage being stagnant but I’ll have plenty of time to deal with that in the future.Mortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Do you want to return back to them when it's sorted out if this is the way the line manager is?
I wouldn't be putting any application on hold. Employers know how long these things take and as long as you word things right at interviews there's nothing to indicate 'jumping ship'. Remember, you are applying for permanent positions, this current one is bank, that's easy to talk your way through. After all, who wouldn't want a permanent position after doing bank for so long. Although bank is flexible, you want stability and new challenges etc.
If you have a copy of the reference then you send it in with the rest of your information.
Do not give up!

Hi. Yeah I feel in a much better place this weekend than what I have been for the last few weeks so that’s good. Thanks for asking @MovingForwards
Got other stresses with my nans now so put my work problems into perspective. I’m not worried about doing anything to the house either. Ive been here 8 years and managed. Dd1 is 12 next week so may just make them share lol rather than waste £15,000 on a loft conversion that will be empty in 6 years and won’t add value as its still in the middle of a council estate.I got ssp which took the edge off a little bit. I’d like to still get the mortgage balance down to the next £100 for the end of the month but I’ll wait and see. That means an op of about £54 for it to be to the next £100. I hardly spent anything for a few weeks but made up for it this Friday. I had to go to town for essential underwear and a few bits for dd1 birthday. Then I had a few wines with a friend so that cost me money and taxis. It made me feel better though so was worth it.Still no change with the job situation but if I’m getting SSP for a few weeks then I’m gonna look on the bright side such as not exposing my nan to covid when I’ve been to work, a nice relaxing half term with no get ups and I’m not dealing with the generally intense stress of work for now lol. Thanks for asking about me anyway it means a lot xMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Priorities do get moved around when other things happen.
Personally, I would save the spare money, not make overpayments at the moment. Wait and see what happens with work or a different job, settle in then use some of the saved money to make a bulk O/P, or if you find you are saving too fast and much, make the O/P.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
