What about the Yaris? That had brake issues too. The RX8 really had issues. It never seemed to appear in photos...photome said:
It would look much more believable if the OP returned with the custard test and maybe an MX5 in the backgroundMalMonroe said:

Where do people get this rubbish from? Brembo pads from Euro Car Parts are currently £75.89 with their usual discount.sweetsand said:
It is very expensive to maintain even if it does not break down as i said earlier the brake pads are close to 600 quid if I recall rightly0 -
Almost every car we have bought brand new, or pre reg over the lat 20 years or so, never been in a similar never mind a test drive. But for older cars I would suggest you do but with older cars less warrnty and more to go wrong especially an RS8 - nice cat, btw.Herzlos said:couriervanman said:As above who on earth buys a 10 yr old car without a test drive.......only going to end up one way

But that's for one without the optional ceramic brakes.
With ceramics, they're the thick end of £500 off the 'bay.

Based upon your list of cars in other posts, it is very odd that you don't receive any customer service at the sales stage...sweetsand said:

Well yeah, you probably don't need to test drive a brand / nearly new car - it should be in good condition and be backed by a warranty.
People who buy older cars without even seeing them seem crazy, especially a suspiciously cheap supercar.

There's two reasons to test-drive...Herzlos said:

1. Do you actually LIKE it? Is it comfortable? Do you enjoy driving it?
2. For used cars, is that particular one in good condition?2
