Just out of curiosity how does a car "nearly catch fire"?1

What hasn't been commented on that I have noticed is that the car 'was delivered'. If it had just passed an MOT it seems that the break pipes were functional before delivery but not after. So son rejects car and hopefully leaves dealer chasing deliverer's insurance. The overarching lesson here seems to be the need for caution when something seems too good to be true. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I disagree with you and others that have said the same.photome said:I am also doubtful about the OPs story
I've written a book on facts are stranger than fiction and they are. Alternatively and I apologise to the OP if I've misread what others have been saying about you here that your story is true and that you are one of the many people I've seen from a distance that are dysfucntional with money and dreamers, hence your purchase of a car that you clearly can't afford.
