Your fixed tariff has a horrendously daily charge and expensive kWh rates. It's not clear whether you are now on a prepayment meter, but if not you need to switch to a cheaper SSE tariff until these problems have been sorted out, and then switch to a cheaper supplier. It's almost certainly worth paying the SSE exit fee.However, right now the urgent things are to send both meter readings and to sign up to the Priority Services Register. I'm surprised your Social Worker didn't help you with all this.0
