think i'll give next a ring myself. what shall i say when i get through? have successful non vips said they had a slot but it didn't work or just said they want to make an order of sale items?

I followed the adice of an earlier poster, who said they had the sale leaflet but couldn't log in to order. The first person I asked said there was nothing he could do, and to try on Christmas eve. The second woman just took my order straight away. So try again if they say no the first time!

My mum had a VIP slot at 6.30pm and she hardly got anything on her list either, I suppose it depends what you are ordering. Although it makes me wonder if some of the items ever make it in to the sale- how can a bedset sell out in 30 minutes??

does the sale leaflet usually come i the post then? just getting my story straight before calling them

Ok for those non-vips or those with later slots this is what i did...............may work it may not, i really think it depends who you get

I phoned the old order line number 08456007000 and got through within 3 minutes, spoke to an indian guy and said i am trying to complete my vip sale order my internet has gone down, he said ok and took all my item numbers etc.

After the first item i double checked the price to make sure he had done it at sale etc n everything went through fine.

May be worth a try, good luck everyone :T

The last few vip sales I too have had the crash out problem when deleting sold items etc, however if they aren't deleted I have had a different problem twice before when if you order 80 items (done easily if buying for whole family & in multi sizes!) it takes you through to checkout even if you have say 40 items sold out & haven't finished!!

I have spoken to Next before but haven't really got to the bottom of it so I do delete some items just in case but not everything to avoid the crash out as it seems to me like there is an item order limit on-line.

I suppose it all depends how many people want that particular thing & how many they had to put in the sale in the 1st place. I ordered a bedset myself as I wont pay £50 for a duvet set, but will pay £25

When I phoned I just said i'd like to place an order of sale items, went through straight away and confirmed sale price at end of order..

If they question it say you know plenty of other people that have placed a sale order over the phone.

The sale leaflet should be linked to VIP slots, e.g. my mum got a sale leaflet and a VIP slot. i said i had received one but not the other. The man agreed that the two are usually linked, and that they had been having problems with the system. Someone will give in!!

I got through in 5 mins and said i would like to place a order. I gave the first order code with G50 on the end. She said ok then I aksed how much is it she says full price...I go well i wanted to order from the sale...she goes do u have a vip slot..I said yes (as I do for tomorrow) ..she goes is it now I go yes (hoping she will not check or will make up a exscuse that I forgot... i thought it was for now) she said hold on...then came back after 2 mins and said yes I can take your order..then as I had the sale sheet i just quoted all the first 6 order codes number digits with out the G50..and got my order though!!! However most of the kids stuff i wanted was gone had to order diff sizes:T :j

I just rang the 0844 844 8333 number!!!!
