Next are the only place I can get some nice baby boy clothes as everywhere else doesnt have a very good selection or dont wash well and after a couple of washes, usually a day with my Charlie they are ruined. I bought some cheap items in the Monsoon baby sale but all the colours ran and not too impressed.

Next have some beautiful girls clothes - I'll be skint if we have a girl next!

im after 9 mth girls clothes, but my lo is 22 mths ! shes v v short for her age bless her, shes been in 6-9 since her bday and they still fit her now with the odd exception!

Awwww, bless her! I's a bit like my daughter, she's 32 months & still in 12-18 month clothes
  • I've not got a VIP slot. Never have had. Surely, if invites for VIP slots are random, as Next claim, by the law of averages I should have received at least one in the last 8 or so years that I've been shopping with them? Especially as some people seem to get a slot EVERY time

They should limit the number of items that people can order to, say, 20 items per person, to make it fair on those that don't get a slot.

  • I think they should just have one sale...in the shops and online...beginning at the same time to make it fairer for everyone. First come first serve, if its not there then you cant have it, simple as that.
What makes someone a better choice for VIP slot than someone else? There is nothing random about it.
Its not sour grapes that I havent got a slot as some people might be thinking as I am more than happy to go the sale in store. I only found out about the slots by accident, and have gone to the early morning sale for years but since finding out about the slots feel that queing in the rain for store shopping is bit of a swizz when the selection is going to be a lot less due to people going absolutely crazy online and others selling it.
  • Hi guys and gals,

Great info from all posters here but is there any chance we can keep to the topic of Next sale Codes. I don't really need to read through pages of people talking about their 9 months old's pink trousers they want from the sale before finding out that nobody has actually got a code yet.

We are up to 30 pages and still no post of a code. Instead we have stories of monsoon clothes running in the wash and marks and spencers being rubbish - not really relevant to the thread is it?

Have a good Crimbo all, and first one to post the code gets a smartie x

They do limit it - you can order up to 70 items in a VIP slot.

Yes I agree it is unfair....I like a bargain as much as the next person, but it would be much fairer if the sale started at a set time for everyone. Those that are willing to get up at 1am or whenever it starts to get the best bargains, well that's fair enough then. But this slot idea does seem unfair.
