In reading the responses to my first post, I apologise. It does come accross a bit scrooge - Sorry :O)
That was not my intention at all I was just wanted to keep the topic relevant. In my nievity I didn't beleive forums were a place to chat.
I was just frustrated after reading 30 pages of posts and not being any wiser than when I started some 20 minutes before.
My mum always said "don't say anything in the heat of the moment - Take five and think about what you want to say". Oh how I should listen!
Sorry to all and have a good one - I for one have been shafted with a shift and have to work leaving little one and the gorgeous wife at home(
Anyone for a chat at some time?0 -

PMSL no problems, I guess you are new to forums then if you are not used to the nattering or perhaps that only happens to threads I'm in:rotfl:. Relax and go with the flow, if you read the chatterings you can sometimes pick up hints and tips on other things, otherwise if I'm short of time I just skim through the posts.

Great info from all posters here but is there any chance we can keep to the topic of Next sale Codes. I don't really need to read through pages of people talking about their 9 months old's pink trousers they want from the sale before finding out that nobody has actually got a code yet.
We are up to 30 pages and still no post of a code. Instead we have stories of monsoon clothes running in the wash and marks and spencers being rubbish - not really relevant to the thread is it?
Have a good Crimbo all, and first one to post the code gets a smartie x
The above may seem a little harsh but very true... look at the pages about uGg boots.
I did ring Next to ask for a slot but with no joy. Then reading all the messages on here someone posted they only spent £100 & got a VIP slot.
So I thought.... i'm not having that... I spent over £1500 this year (doing my house up). So rung up again, was told by the Next no you haven't been selected, blah, blah, so I said it's rather unfair considering how much i've spent.
Very nice gentleman said.... have a slot then. My slot is at a rubbish time (5am Sun) but i'm still pleased. I can change it if I want but the next available time is 3pm and by then I doubt much will be left.
If your desperate for a slot give them a call... you can only ask.0 -
Well I've just run through all the code combinations again, and no different to yesterday. GM0 works, but comes up as full price - I guess that the courier/staff slots must not have started yet.0

maybe they start tomorrow morning seeming as vips dont start until 6pm tomorrow. just hope its not this afternoon as im going out!Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

Looking at the way they have done the vip slots this time. There may not be any codes at all.
Looks like vip slot and account are linked. So you order as normal and discount prices will be adjusted when you go to checkout. Could be wrong? But probably not.
Slots are randomly chosed but from a certain list, of what they have ordered recently, there repayments are like and how much credit they have left.0 -
not sure if thats a good thing or not, if they stop the codes well have to wait until the normal sale starts which means a lot will be sold out, but then if people arent getting in through the back door would all the decent stuff be sold out?Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

Exactly, most of the stuff in the last few sales was all gone by the time the VIP slots came online.0
