I keep finding that items that show on an online order as out of stock, are in stock if I phone the order through.

had about 50 items on 1-2 week wait list. i ordered on the first day of vip sale, been nearly 2 weeks. today ive had the first lot of the order - ONE item delivered theres me getting all excited when i saw the delivery man!!!

many thanks i just tried to order items that were showing as out of stock over the phone instead and i managed to get about 15 in stock, only two out of stock much appreciated :T

just out of interest have you spoken to Next and what have they told you. I am in a similar situation and i don't know if i will receive the goods or not. I too ordered 1st day of vip

I ordered first day of the vip sale and got everything bar one item the week between Christmas and New Year, the one item (a coat) is what I really wanted so I hope that come soon .

i havent this time. but last year i was meant to go on holiday end of august. when i ordered in the july sale, i had things on the 1-2 week wait and i remember just before i went on holiday, i phoned up and asked what was happening and couldnt tell me how long it would take, just that they deliver whenever the stock comes in - all she could say was some items which they did have and were about to put out to delivery. so i just cancelled the remaining order.
and also in the past my 1-2 week stuff has come over the coming months and in the end have emailed/written a letter and appologised that the last couple of remaining items, they cannot get hold off. and its always annoying they dnt send a replacement out or if ud been aware before ud have ordered something else. so i dont hold my breath for any of the items ive got on the wait.HTH

Just wondered if anyone can help me?

I ordered some items last week, cs said there is about half my order that will take 2-4 weeks to arrive. The half that is in stock, the money was deducted from my account yesterday.

Anyway my question is. . . Do they deduct the money just before or just after despatching the items? I cant wait for my stuff to arrive.:jAm hoping my account number comes with the order too, i only registered last month.

ive had my next statement today with a bill of £0.00. wish it were true. spent nearly a grand in the sale but its not come up yet. dunno how it works for 1st orders. probably deduct it beforehand if paying with card
