So why block us from using the VIP sale? I think people who spend time working out a crack to the sale deserve a few bargains!0 -

The VIP thing is just so their systems don't crash. If they let everyone order at the same time the site can't take it, it crashes & they dont make no money. By spreading a few thousand out over a few days with VIP invites it makes it easier for them.0 -
I think that's exactly right. They are not bothered WHO gets the VIP invites (as evidenced by the fact that sometimes a customer agent will give you one if you complain, sometimes they won't no matter what you say!!). All they want is to just allow 500 people per half hour (or however many) to access the site to stagger the sale shopping. They know that within 2 days of the main sale starting they will have sold out of everything worth having anyway...just without so many technical hitches.0

Went to a Next clearance shop today(ashford) , walked in and out again in less than 5 secs :rotfl: Was more like a jumble sale and full of things you would not buy .0

I logged on early this morning and found a lot of new things added to the sale but most were already sold out. The site now opens at 3 am (use to be 6 am). Does anyone have any idea what time new sale items are added??0

there are some new things on this morning too but sizes selling quickly. Has anyone had any luck with coats and jackets being delivered. I ordered a ladies coat a girls coat and 2 mens jackets. All have been 'delayed' and none delivered. Hope i get them but am not holding breath. Have many returns gone through ?0

I've had 2 out of 4 ladies coats delivered (and sent 1 back so far). In fact, I've pretty much had everything through that wasn't to be delivered in 1-2 weeks.0
