Abusive partner wants me to go back to him

Firstly Hi and hope your safe.
I don't think your abuse started the day you were beaten... I think he's been manipulating you and wearing you down in a million ways before that day. Possibly you may have noticed some but he charmed his way around it and by making you think if you didn't change he'd leave you or perhaps even hurt himself.
The fact that he thinks you have 'no reason' to leave him suggests heavily that he has.
Honestly sweetie... we all have a line... the line which we think we'd leave a relationship if this / that / the other were to happen. Think back to previous relationships... were WAS your line then. He's very skillfully walked you so far over this line... that you can't even see it.
Remember your a mother... if he'd do this to you...
1. whats to stop him from doing it to your kids... he's already guilty of emmotional abuse.. in that they saw this and he showed aggression to them.
2. Do you want your children to think this is normal... Remember kids tend to model the parents behaviour... If you tolerate it then they might in their adult relationships. As the abused or the abuser.
