I'm a recent investor in Ripple's Whitelaw Brae Co-operative and I didn't get an email.  What did it say?

    Hi Bud,

Not sure i can really copy/paste it on here in its enterity, but heres the pertinent section.

"The accounts and audit issues alongside the shutting down of the community forum have given us cause to assess Ripple's performance, remediation actions and our ongoing relationship and we are in the process of taking legal advice as the situation unfolds."

Bear in mind this is for kirk hill only, not seen anything for the other schemes/investments( i have invested something in all of them, except for the first)

no problems at Whitelaw Brae or Derril water.Think most problems are with holding company of the land ect and now seems like Ripple have appointed own people and auditors to sort it out

Ripple themselves seem to be in a poor state unfortunately. Sarah posted a 2024 overview on Seedrs which itself wasn't done until last month.  Investment in projects, Whitelaw Brae, has been disappointing.  She attributes this to poor business interest and low invester satisfaction leading to low word of mouth referral.  Ripple lost money and has made redundancies.
Personally I hope they recover but its a tough market, especially with Octopus moving into the space.

There's a comment on the Ripple Community (which itself is currently closed for member submissions while they sort their Online Security Act compliance out) that says it all, really.
"I thought the major risk in this investment was the windfarm not being built; never did I even contemplate the 'business' potentially folding because accounts weren't submitted on time."

Hopefully I'm not the only one to have received two emails this morning, one from Ripple (in Sarah's name) and one from the Kirk Hill co-op.
    The headlines:
    - Ripple have ceased trading.
    - The Kirk Hill cooperative are continuing to reconcile the accounts and are now looking for a new managing agent for the wind farm.

Per the Ripple / Sarah email:
"Derril Water solar park is currently under construction. Construction is led and managed by an experienced third party contractor, they will continue to manage the project’s build on behalf of the cooperative and its members."
